EDUCATION SERVICES:

(3rd Floor)

Center Club tries to encourage members to continue with, or pursue their education.  We do this in a variety of ways.  The backbone of our education work is the dedication of Center Club members who tutor other members.  Member tutors are available at scheduled time slots during the week, or by appointment.

For information about current tutors, please contact Center Club’s Education Coordinator at 617-788-1004, or visit the Education Room on the third floor.

MAIN FOCUS:

  • (GED) preparation, computer literacy, English for Speakers of Other Languages, and Adult Basic Education topics
  • Connections to disability offices at local  colleges
  • Assistance accessing funding for school
  • ESOL programming on-site and referrals to programming in the community
  • Regular presentations from local education programs in the community.
